Looking to start your nail career or simply up-skill? This course will leave you feeling confident and qualified in gel polish application.
This beginner suitable course has both an online and in-person element. Before the in person training, first an online nail anatomy and chemistry course must be completed to give students the basic knowledge they will need for the practical part of the course. This online course will be available immediately upon purchase of this course and can be found in the “My Account” section under “My Courses”.
Location: Various locations available across the UK
Prerequisites: Ideal for beginners to the nail industry & qualified nail technicians looking to refresh their knowledge.
Course Length: 1 day (7 hours)
Accreditation: Yes with ABT
Certificate: Certificates are issued on completion of the course. This is usually at the end of the day however if the educator feels the student requires a little more practice before being qualified the certificate may be issued at a later date, after additional case studies have been submitted.
Kit: Not included, available as an option when booking or add here
Kit Includes: Top Coat, Base Coat, Blanc, Noir & Caliente - option with and without Nail Order gel lamp.
Items required to complete the course: Top Coat, Base Coat, Caliente choice of gel polish colour & primer. A lamp will be required to complete the course, it is recommended to use the Nail Order lamp
Model: You must provide a model to apply a full set of gel polish on. Model must arrive with product-free nails.
Course Contents: The practical part of the course may only be completed once the online anatomy and chemistry part of the course has been completed. This is essential to give beginners important basic knowledge. The practical part of the course will cover natural nail preparation, how to paint a nail, gel polish application, removal and showcasing your work.
