What is Dura Gel and when should i use hard gel?

Not yet used a hard gel? If you are a gel tech then this is a MUST for your kit! Nor one product fits all and that is why we need to ensure that we have a range of product types to suit a range of nail techs. Hard gel should be your go-to for creating length but also for creating extreme strength.

 Who should i use Dura Gel on?

Hard gel is perfect for clients who are very heavy handed with their nails and so need a lot of added strength. You are also able to create long and strong extensions using hard gel by sculpting or over tips, hard gel also allows for a super square finish that wont round as quickly as builder gel might.

What is Dura Gel and when should i use hard gel?

Things to note with Dura Gel

  • As with all hard gels, Dura Gel is a file off product
  • Dura Gel has a cure thickness of 1.8mm, this means that each layer should be no more than 1.8mm thick.
  • Dura Gel contains just 4% HEMA
  • Medium/ Thick viscosity

 

This hard gel formula will last chip-free for 3+ weeks when the nails can be infilled. The low HEMA (<5%), UK made formula has excellent retention and durability, allowing you to create extremely strong overlays or extensions by sculpting or using with tips.
